Laughter and nostalgia in the TV show: “Yo fui a EGB: El concurso”
Last December 21st we had a great time with the “Yo fui a EGB” (“I attended elementary school”) TV show that brought great joy, laughter and good memories to the “babyboom” generation.
The host of the program, Anabel Alonso, started the show playing hopscotch and telling anecdotes about life in the 70’s and 80’s. Then she introduced the three pairs of contestants, who had to pass three eliminating rounds in which their knowledge of pop culture from their school days were tested. The winning couple would get a trip to London and tickets for an eighties show.
In one of the first tests, contestants had to recognize some products from the 80´s, Peta Zetas® among them. They could only use touch, smell and taste. The answer from the competitors when tasting Peta Zetas® popping candy was quick: after jumping with joy and recalling good childhood memories saying “I love it”, they correctly guessed… it was Peta Zetas®.
Peta Zetas® popping candy is part of the memories of the 80´s, together with the snakes and ladders, the hula-hop and the Nancy doll, but it is also the funniest candy of the children of today.
