FOOD SAFETY CULTURE POLICY

At Zeta Espacial S.A. we are committed to producing safe and quality food. We recognize the importance of ensuring food safety at all levels of our operation. Our food safety culture policy reflects our commitment to excellence in food safety and customer satisfaction, with the following Principles:

  1. Commitment to Food Safety: All employees, from senior management to production and cleaning staff, are committed to the production and distribution of safe food and compliance with applicable regulations.

  2. Culture of Prevention: We promote a culture of prevention, identifying and managing food safety risks at all stages of the production chain. We promote awareness of the importance of food safety in every role and responsibility.

  3. Regulatory Compliance: We rigorously comply with all national and international standards and regulations related to food safety.

  4. Training and Awareness: We provide ongoing training to our employees on safe food handling practices, personal hygiene and safe production processes in compliance with Regulation (EC) 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 28, 2004, relating to the hygiene of food products.

  5. Comprehensive Quality Management: We implement a comprehensive quality approach, integrating food safety management systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), to guarantee the safety of our products.

  6. Sustainability and respect for the environment: We believe in the need to respect the environmental balance of the area, maximizing the use of resources in response to growing environmental problems and controlling the possible impact of our activities on our environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Senior Management: Senior management sets the tone for the food safety culture, providing resources and effective leadership for its implementation and continuous improvement.

  2. Quality and Safety Department: The Quality and Safety Department has the responsibility of developing, implementing and maintaining food safety management systems. Continuously monitors compliance with standards and coordinates internal and external audits.

  3. Production and Packaging Departments: Responsible for following safe food handling practices, reporting any deviations or safety issues, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

  4. Purchasing Department: Committed to involving suppliers in the commitment to the company’s values and supply of products according to requirements.

  5. Marketing Department: Committed to offering products that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and consumers. Responsible for ensuring compliance with legal, company and client text requirements in packaging and communication materials.
