Since 2024, Zeta Espacial S.A., the world leader in the manufacture of popping candy — better known under brands such as Pop Rocks® and Fizz Wiz® — has collaborated with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona to improve care and the hospitalization experience of the hospital’s pediatric patients.
In 2025, Zeta Espacial renewed its commitment to young patients´ well-being by supporting the MyRoom program and sponsoring emotional support and entertainment activities carried out during hospitalization in room 158: visits from hospital clowns, music therapy and art therapy sessions, assisted therapy with dogs, and care provided by a great team of professionals. The company also collaborated with the Otolaryngology Department in acquiring a new audiometer that enables the rapid and accurate detection of various types of hearing problems, allowing for early and high-quality diagnoses.
In 2024, Zeta Espacial had already collaborated with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu by funding an innovative MDoloris device for the Neonatal Unit, designed to assess pain in premature babies and monitor pain in newborns. That same year, the company also began collaborating with the MyRoom program and dedicated part of its donation to the support programs of the SJD Pediatric Cancer Center, a leading center for the research and treatment of childhood cancer with a great support program for families.
